Spectral Lighting System
The Science of Light Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) researches the critical role of light in health. Our team’s exciting discoveries inspired the installation of a groundbreaking, adjustable spectral lighting system in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our Critical Care Building. This innovative technology allows us to study how the right kind of light can improve the health of newborns and children. We are dedicated to using this breakthrough science to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
